Went and saw Iron Man last night. I had hoped to get to see it last Sunday but that sneak peak was cancelled (dammit). So we went last night. I have a friend who saw it and he told me it set the bar really high for the summer movie season. He isn’t kidding. Either everything else this summer is going to be really great, or really blow in comparison.
Robert Downey Jr. was the perfect choice for Tony Stark. And wow is he still HOT! YUMMY!
Oh and if you saw it and didn’t stay until after the credits SHAME ON YOU! And you probably don’t have any idea what the title of this post is about in relation to the movie.

Several of us local bloggers age going together next Saturday. I rarely attempt to see a movie on opening weekend. I’m finding that I’m just to old for that crap.
As excited as I am to see this movie, I’d rather give things a week to calm down a bit.
But I saw some crappy cell phone video on io9 and I know exactly what the title refers to.
Hawesome!!
Haven’t seen it yet, but I did get a poster of Iron Man for my birthday.
I have a room just for my computer and anything else that strikes my fancy. I have movie posters hung up in there.
I will have to check it out. I did recognize Robert Downey Jr. Wow! Thanks for this Poodles. Please tell X.O. that the best way to see a new release is on a Sunday morning. I don’t do well in crowds so I go to the first show on a Sunday if there’s something new that I want to see. Thanks! I had a hard time leaving my comment so if the other two do actually post you can delete them!! Whew! Have a great week! Hugs!
I caught the 12:50 showing today. It was pretty good as far as super hero movies go. To be honest, when I first read that Robert Downey was going to play the lead role, had my doubts. But he pulled it off. I hope he stays off drugs and keeps his act together. If the movie does well enough, I definitely see a sequel in a couple of years.
As for after the closing credits, I missed that Poodles. The wife and I had the kids with us and had too much on our agenda for the day to stick around. Oh well, guess I will have to wait for the DVD release!
Okay, I just watched it on Youtube. However, my knowledge of comic book lore is not all that great, so I am not exactly sure what to make of it, apart from telegraphing what might be in the sequel.
I agree Traceytreasure,
I do prefer to see movies on Sunday mornings. But there was a theater here that was showing one Saturday and they sell reserved seating and it was 21 and older, so we went.
I will be getting it on dvd so I can watch it on my new lcd tele. That and I do n’t have to put up with kids or randy teens.
