Absolutely appalling. The SOB must have been in some drug induced psychosis. Shooting him was too quick. He should have went out like John Travolta’s character in the end of The Punisher.

I don’t normally condone cops shooting unarmed people, but in this instance it was fully justified (but unfortunately too late)
When I read this I wondered why the bystanders didn’t do more to try and stop the killing.

The key word there is “potential” vs actually guilty with numerous credible witnesses. The fatal gunshot should have been delivered after two to the feet, two to the knees, 3 to the groin, one up his arse and then one to the stomach. “Now, write your apology in blood you evil cunt!” That would have been a bit more just.
Of course, with Jeebus, it isn’t about justice. An eternity of torture. Not even this asshat deserves an eternity of torture. Some is deserved, but not an eternity. Good thing there isn’t a hell for him to go to eh?

“potential killer” is a human being who may be innocent. full rights.
